John selected, reviewed and edited the material for this demonstration. The telephone misunderstanding behind Yewper’s name was developed into a fictional scene. The poems are creative works rather than factual accounts, interviews or transcriptions. Real names and places appear in parts of the collection. Their inclusion does not establish that the events described occurred or that those named have endorsed the work. Chapter illustrations currently identified as default illustrations are supplied by the publishing system.
